  • Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Reborn

    [caption id="attachment_87" align="alignright" width="200" caption="Easy access to the boardwalk from the beach."][/caption]The City of Myrtle Beach celebrated the grand opening of it's new tourist attraction, The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. The ribbon cutting ceremony featured a 1000 pound cake, in the shape of what else, a flip-flop. The footwear of choice for beach-goers.  The 1.2 mile beachfront and dunes protected boardwalk was welcomed by city leaders, locals and a few tourists who were lucky enough to be in town.
