Sunday Celebrations on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
Sunday evenings along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk just got even better! Every Sunday night, starting May 29th through Labor Day, Sunday Celebrations will present a free Christian music concert at the old Myrtle Beach Pavilion site. The kick-off party starts at 6 p.m. May 29th with Illusionist Brock Gill, up and coming Christian music group Royal Tailor, and the lovely Britt Nicole appearing to get the Sunday Celebrations off to a good start. All shows are open to the public and free of charge. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs, to sit back, relax and enjoy the shows. SkyWheel Opens For Business
Okay all you ferris wheel junkies, your fix can now be had in Myrtle Beach! The new 200 foot Myrtle Beach SkyWheel opens for business today at 10 o'clock. The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk area, adjacent to Plyler Park, will be home to the beach's newest family attraction. The SkyWheel will feature a 12 minute ride which includes 3 revolutions around inside a luxurious Swiss made, climate controlled gondola. The view of the beach will be breath taking and impressive! Cost is $12 for adults, ages 3-11 the cost is $8, and riders under 2 ride for free. The SkyWheel will be open from 10 a.m. til 1 or 2 in the morning, depending on how busy it is. ...
