Holidays on the Boardwalk
This past Saturday, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk kicked off their Welcome to the Holidays "Holidays on the Boardwalk" event. It began this Saturday afternoon with Santa riding in on none other than a motorcycle! The ceremony ended with an appearance from the mayor, who flipped the switch to display the Boardwalk’s Christmas lights. Through wars, numerous hurricanes, and even the closing of it's close friend, The Myrtle Beach Pavilion, The Bowery, has been a Myrtle Beach music institution since 1944. Located just off the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, The Bowery has entertained millions and it's bartenders have probably tapped more mugs of beer than just about anywhere else.
