For those wheel chair bound visitors to Myrtle Beach, you’ve got a new friend in the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. The 1.2 mile concrete and wooden boardwalk on Myrtle Beach is an excellent and safe way for our wheel chair bound friends and families to “walk the boards,” catch a beautiful Atlantic sunrise, or just enjoy the natural surf beauty. Along the boardwalk route, our wheel chair bound friends can find numerous shaded sitting alcoves for family members and friends that give unobstructed views of the beach. These alcoves are perfect for picture taking or just relaxing and enjoying the cool salt air breezes. When it’s time to grab a cool beverage, you and your entourage can head to the merchants plaza area of the boardwalk, which can be found between the 9th and 10th Avenue North section of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Here, you can enjoy easily accessible tables in an open air setting, all the while enjoying the beautiful beach scenery. Welcome to the MYRTLE BEACH BOARDWALK, enjoy, and have a safe and wonderful time.
