Hot Summer Nights Plyler Park

Hot Summer Nights, the summer-long festival has kicked off for 2012 and continues through Sept. 29, with free family entertainment every night. There are concerts, street performers, kids’ carnivals, fireworks and more in Plyler Park at Mr. Joe White and Ocean Boulevard, along the boardwalk and along Ocean Boulevard in downtown Myrtle Beach.

• Sundays - performers on the boardwalk
• Mondays - free kids’ carnivals
• Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays - free oceanfront concerts at Plyler Park
• Wednesdays - fireworks over the ocean from the 2nd Avenue Pier
• Fridays - a strolling Dixieland band on the boardwalk
