Holidays on the Boardwalk
This past Saturday, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk kicked off their Welcome to the Holidays "Holidays on the Boardwalk" event. It began this Saturday afternoon with Santa riding in on none other than a motorcycle! The ceremony ended with an appearance from the mayor, who flipped the switch to display the Boardwalk’s Christmas lights. Banditos Restaurant
OK all you Mexican food lovers, your time has come! Banditos Restaurant and Cantina has opened its doors. With a nice selection of Mexican food fare, a touch of Latin influenced and Caribbean food, Banditos Restaurant is opened for business. Banditos Restaurant owner, Chip Smith, has agreed to build a 425 feet extension to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. This extension will give Myrtle Beach boardwalkers direct access to the restaurant from the boardwalk. Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Restaurants Oceanfront Bar & Grill on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk With wide open views of the boardwalk and the Atlantic Ocean, good food, cold drinks and pleasant staff, it's the ultimate stop after a long day at the beach. Ocean Front Bar & Grill was originally known as Ocean Front Tavern. In 1935, there was a beer garden built over the beach on a wooden patio which was removed in 1940 to make way for a new 12-foot wide concrete walkway. The business was bought by a new owner and renamed Ocean Front Restaurant. In 1948, Johnny Burroughs bought the eatery, and Ocean Front Grill was born.
