Today Show puts Myrtle Beach Boardwalk in Top 5
The staff at the Today Show on NBC decided to feature the brand new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Promenade as one of the best boardwalks in America. I just watched the segment on TV and, not surprisingly, was impressed with the coverage. They talked about it being "brand new" and having something for everyone - which it does. They showed the "quiet areas" for enjoying a stroll along the beach without getting sand in your shoes and the section with shops and eateries to satisfy your hunger needs - for souvenirs, beach "stuff" and, of course, food. Walk The Boards Catch a Memorial Day Parade
Memorial Day weekend 2010 in Myrtle Beach is shaping up to be a fun family time! This year, not only can you stroll the beautiful brand new Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, you can catch the City of Myrtle Beach Memorial Day parade. The parade Grand Marshall is really "out of this world", astronaut Buzz Aldrin who just happens to be the second person to walk on the moon.
